Vancouver Lighting at its inception was primarily a trac lighting manufacturer with a small showroom, but with rapid expansion of the retail showroom sales the operation was moved to much larger showroom facilities on Bridgeport Road in Richmond.

Vancouver Lighting has always concentrated on products that provided a “contemporary” look and design, at the best value to the end consumer. We were among the first to display residential lighting products from Asia as well as from Europe and North America, and as such gained a reputation in the market place to builders and designers alike as a source of good value of products that provided both up-to-date and modern design.

The original Bridgeport location was initially in an area of “Kitchen cabinet makers” and flooring suppliers and the like in a light industrial setting, but was soon joined by such retailers as Ikea, Home Depot, Ethan Allen, Scan design etc. We even boast a Starbucks on our parking lot. Lots of reasons to visit soon.

In another trendsetting move Vancouver Lighting Gallery was one of the founding businesses on the now famous United Boulevard, “Pacific Reach” development in Coquitlam.

 

This very successful venture gave us one of the largest lighting showroom in North America when it opened its door in 1995, this 11,000 sq facility with its impressive Crystal and Tiffany Mezzanine has drawn visitors from all over the world, curious to see how we display lighting in a “Big Box” setting.

Our large selection of design, colours and sizes makes the Vancouver Lighting showrooms a “must see” for any serious lighting shopper.

United Boulevard now also offers a wide array of home furnishing outlets, national retail stores and even a Casino. Many shoppers are now treating this area as an excellent source to check on a regular basis to keep up to date on what’s new in home decor and design.

Each Vancouver lighting “showroom” offers a unique flavour and clientele. Some items and styles may be displayed exclusively in one location from time to time so we urge you to visit both to see the full range of products available.
