CUSTOMER SERVICE

Customer service is our highest priority at Vancouver Lighting. With our sales staff already helping our customers, either in-store or by telephone/fax, we decided to open up our own Web site in May of 1997. This creates another outlet in which we can help service our customers better and answer any questions they may have.

We want each visit to our store and web site to be an enjoyable experience. If, for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may exchange it or return it for a refund or credit.

In Store Shopping - Policies, Terms and Conditions

Merchandise – Electrical Approval/Warranty

  • All electrical items are certified to meet Canadian Standards by a federally approved testing agency (CSA , UL, etc).
  • Manufacturer warranties vary from company to company and even by type of item. Please check the individual Manufacturer’s policies on-line or in-store at the time of purchase.
  • We provide our own in-store electrical warranty service for 1 year from date of purchase on all electrically operated items - excluding light bulbs.
  • Wiring and electrical connections done at the time of installation of fixtures are considered the responsibility of the installer/electrician and are beyond our control.

Damages and Breakage

  • We encourage all customers to check glass items before leaving the store.
  • If you encounter a damaged or broken item, please telephone the store you purchased it from immediately. The staff will advise you on how the situation can best be resolved. Please have your receipt and item packaging available when you phone.

Return / Refund / Credit Policy

  • Regular priced merchandise returned with receipt within 7 days in uninstalled saleable condition with all original packaging will be fully refunded to the same tender type as used in the original purchase.
  • Sale priced items returned with receipt within 7 days in uninstalled saleable condition in all original packaging will receive an in-store credit towards another purchase or to the customer’s account for later use.
  • Clearance, Clearout and Discontinued items are final sales.

  1. Email our Sales Department with your order, supplying your full name, phone number, and model number of the fixture(s) you wish to order. A salesperson will be in contact with you shortly.
